Hi, I’m Byron Stanford

Creative work.
New ways to approach it.

I help creative professionals and teams bring AI into the way they work, with their judgment and creative intent at the center. My approach grows out of hands-on production: developing ideas, shaping the work, responding to client feedback, and seeing projects through to delivery.

Craft comes first.

I started in graphic design, where structure, hierarchy, and clarity matter as much as aesthetics. My practice grew into motion design, 3D, and production workflows across studios, agencies, and organizations.

That background shapes my teaching, but you don’t need to work in motion or 3D to work with me. Workshops and coaching start with your creative questions, your role, and the process you already use.

My approach to AI

Start with
a creative question.

What are you trying to make? Which ideas do you want to explore? What needs to stay consistent? Those questions give us a useful starting point for working with AI.

We can use references and context to direct the work, compare outputs, and refine what comes back. We can also look at which tools suit the task and how to bring them into your existing process.

That’s also how I teach: work through an example, explain the choices, and connect the approach to something you want to make. Your judgment stays central—choosing what to pursue, what to change, and what to leave behind.
